Terms of Use
1. Agreement
These Terms of Use form an agreement between you and GLOBE.CASH LLC ("GLOBE.CASH", "we", "us"). By using globe.cash or joining the waitlist you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.
2. What this site currently is
Today GLOBE.CASH is a pre-launch information page with an email waitlist. The product described on it — listing a token, pinning it to a location on Earth, and claiming it on site — is not live. Nothing here is a commitment that it will launch, that it will work as described, or that it will be available in your country.
3. Eligibility
You may use this site only if you:
- are at least 18 years old and can form a binding contract;
- are not barred from using it under the laws of your country; and
- are not subject to sanctions administered by the United Nations, the European Union, the United Kingdom or the United States, and are not resident in a comprehensively sanctioned territory.
4. Not financial, legal or tax advice
Nothing on this site is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, a recommendation, or an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any asset. GLOBE.CASH is not a bank, exchange, broker-dealer, custodian, money transmitter or financial adviser, and is not registered as any of those. Digital assets are volatile and can lose all of their value. Decide for yourself, and take your own professional advice.
5. The waitlist
- Joining the waitlist costs nothing and obliges neither side to anything.
- It is not a reservation, allocation, pre-sale, token entitlement or promise of access.
- We may close, re-order, segment or cancel the waitlist at any time.
- Give us an address you control. Do not sign up on anyone else's behalf.
- Unsubscribe whenever you like, via any email we send or at support@globe.cash.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- submit addresses that are not yours, or flood the waitlist with automated signups;
- probe, scan, overload or disrupt the site or its infrastructure;
- scrape it other than as a well-behaved search-engine crawler;
- impersonate GLOBE.CASH or imply an endorsement or partnership that does not exist;
- use the site to break the law, or to infringe anyone's rights.
7. Intellectual property
The GLOBE.CASH name, logo, copy, design and code are owned by GLOBE.CASH LLC or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property law. You may view and share the site, and quote short extracts with attribution. You may not copy the site wholesale, reuse the branding, or present our material as your own without written permission.
8. Third-party links
Links to other sites are for convenience. We do not control them, do not endorse them, and are not responsible for their content, terms or privacy practices.
9. Availability
The site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time, with or without notice, and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the site will be accurate, complete, secure or free of harmful components. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, GLOBE.CASH and its officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill or anticipated savings, arising out of your use of this site — whether in contract, tort, statute or otherwise, and even if we were warned such damage was possible.
Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to this site and these terms will not exceed USD 100.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify GLOBE.CASH against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.
13. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, and our use of browser storage in the Cookie Policy. Both form part of these terms.
14. Changes
We may revise these terms. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. If a change is material we will give waitlist members reasonable notice by email.
15. Termination
We may remove you from the waitlist or block your access at any time, including if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms. Sections 4, 7, and 10 to 17 survive.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the place where GLOBE.CASH LLC is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes are subject to the courts of that place — except that consumers may bring proceedings in their own country of residence where local law gives them that right, and nothing here removes a right you have under the mandatory consumer law that applies to you.
17. General
If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest stands. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger or sale of assets. These terms, with the policies they reference, are the entire agreement between us about this site.
